Why YouTube
I have been a full-time “YouTuber” since 2020. This means that my primary income is from YouTube. It is not a side-hustle or hobby.
I’ll find an enthusiasm for a niche (I’m up to 6) and create a channel in that topic. Every topic can be a YouTube Channel, the key is delivering the videos in a way that is both interesting enough to be clicked on, and educational/entertaining enough for people to stay.
Your YouTube Channel can be about anything.

Ok, But Why YouTube?

YouTube is a search engine; it’s actually the second largest search engine on the planet (after Google itself). Over 100 Million People use YouTube Every day.

But SPECIFICALLY, Why YouTube?

-
The Highest Revenue Possibilities of ALL Social Media Platforms
-
Over a half-dozen Traffic Sources: Browse, Search, Suggested, Subscribers, etc.
-
Longevity: videos are searchable, forever, unlike short-form and long-form content on other platforms (TikTok, Instagram, SnapChat, etc).

“Retirement”
Ask yourself: what it is you want to do when you retire?

Usually this is a hobby or passion-project that begins well before the retirement age. If you’re interested in it, I’m sure there are others that are as well. Why not start a YouTube Channel discussing the thing you want to do, or the place you want to go?

Start a YouTube Channel about-

YOUR THING. YOUR HOBBY. YOUR IDEAL RETIREMENT ACTIVITY.

In a year from now, it could be big enough that you can quit your “day-job” now, and not 10, 20, 30+ years from now.
